Gabriella Fluhler is a Pre-Vet Biotechnology student at Ball State University, having transferred from Purdue University in the Spring of 2016. She has been involved with horses since the age of 5, beginning her career riding and showing retired park pleasure Morgan horses in the Hunter Under Saddle and other English Pleasure classes. Since then, she has ridden, taken lessons at, and shown for several different Delaware County barns. Having competed in local shows, such as 4H and playday events, in addition to national level and qualifying shows, she has plenty of background on the horse show scene. She has experience riding and showing English and Western Pleasure, Hunter Under Saddle, several different over fences classes, Showmanship, Halter, Equitation, Horsemanship, Versatility, Saddleseat, several classifications of Gaited, Barrel Racing, Pole Bending, all of the playday contesting events, and several other more specified disciplines. Gabriella has more recently been training and working to improve her skills in breakaway roping, team roping, and dressage. She currently has one horse, a grade Quarter Horses named Archer. Gabriella is excited to be a part of the Burton Farm team and is eager to help others pursue their passion for this sport.
