The farm, which is located on 80 acres, is currently home to 19 horses.  10 of these horses, Sunny, Boone, Ty, Max, Chuck, Pongo, Philip, Newton, Jilly and Hans are owned by the Burton Family.  Always striving to further their knowledge, all members of the Burton team participate in continuing education or lessons to stay current on health, nutrition and riding skills.

IMG 0045Participating in local shows, visiting clinicians, IEA (Interscholastic Equestrian Association) and 4-H, the Burton family and riders stay busy throughout the year.  Aaron is on the board for the Delaware Co. 4-H Horse and Pony, while Jacqueline is an active Leader within the program.

Outside of the equine world, the Burtons are members of First Presbyterian Church. Jacqueline is a member of Psi Iota Xi, a local philanthropic sorority where she currently sits on the board.  The Burton Family enjoys their time on the farm, but also enjoy tennis, piano, flute, trumpet and swimming.

In addition to horses, Burton Farm is home cattle, hogs, honeybees, dogs, cats, goats and chickens.  For more information on egg sales, please contact us.
